Voucher Date As System Date Demo

Hello, friends! Today, we will talk about another TDL in Tally. It’s called “Voucher Date as a System Date.” After adding this TDL to Tally, you need to activate it for the desired voucher type. To do this, go to the Gateway of Tally.

In the Gateway of Tally, navigate to “Alter” and then select “Voucher Type.” Open the voucher type for which you want to enable this option. For example, if you want to enable it for the Sales Voucher Type, open it, and you will find the “Voucher Date as a System Date” option. Set it to “Yes.”

Once you do this, the feature will be enabled for the Sales Voucher Type. Now, whenever you open a Sales Voucher, it will automatically pick the system date as the voucher date. If you change the date and then go back, the next time you open the Sales Voucher, it will automatically pick the system date again.
